An exposed running blade may engage a surface, leading to possible loss of control and serious injury.

    The tool must be used only for its designed purpose. Any use other than those mentioned in this manual will be considered a case of misuse. The user, and not the manufacturer, shall be liable for any damage or injury resulting from such cases of misuse.

    1. REMOVING OR INSTALLING PLANER BLADES Fig. 2 CAUTION: Always ensure that the tool is switched OFF and unplugged from the power supply before installing or removing blades. Your planer is fitted with reversible blades. Blades can be reversed when one edge has become blunt. After both sides of the blades have been used they should be discarded and replace with identical blades.

    8. EDGE GUIDE CAUTION: Always ensure that the tool is switched OFF and unplugged from the power supply before making Fig. 7 adjustments or installing or removing blades. To fit the edge guide (14), remove the edge guide attachment knob (7) and slide the edge guide into the planer.

    WARRANTY: This Mastercraft product carries a three (3) year replacement warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.
