Start up of the calibration set
• Remove the bottle from the case.
• Shake the salt into a clean vessel
or onto a sheet of paper.
• Fill the bottle with the specified
quantity of water. If possible you
should use distilled water for this
purpose.
rF Salts
11,1 % lithium Chloride
32,8 % magnesium chloride
52,9 % magnesium nitrate
75,4 % sodium chloride
Note:
Filling LiCI salt into the bottle causes
an exothermic reaction i.e. the salt
water mixture becomes warm.
In order to avoid an excessive deve-
lopment of heat, the salt should be
filled by portions.
• The bottle must not be shaken or
turned.
• Place the bottle in the container
again as soon as the exothermic
reaction has ended.
• The bottle should be left open to
settle for approx. 24 hours.
• The bottle must then be stabilised
in a closed state for 48 hours.

Mise en service du kit de calib-
rage
• Retirez les flacons de la valise
• Versez le sel dans un récipient pro-
pre ou sur un papier
• Remplissez le flacon avec la quan-
tité d'eau indiquée. Utilisez si pos-
sible de l'eau distillée pour ce fai-
re.

Indication:
Le remplissage du sel LiCl dans le fla-
con déclenche une réaction exother-
mique, le mélange sel-eau s'échauffe.
Pour éviter tout échauffement exagé-
ré, procéder au remplissage du sel par
étapes successives en diverses porti-
ons.
• Les flacons ne doivent être ni agi-
tés, ni renversés
• Replacez les flacons dans le réci-
pient dès que la réaction exother-
mique est achevée.
• Les flacons débouchés doivent res-
ter au repos durant 24 heures.
• Les flacons munis de leur bouchon
doivent ensuite se stabiliser durant
48 heures.
