Overview This document describes the procedure for installing the cabinet, boards, modules, and cables when a DBS3900 uses a TP48200A cabinet. It also provides a hardware installation checklist. Product Version The following table lists the product versions related to this document.

Familiarize yourself with this information as well as the cabinet interior and relevant space requirements before installing the cabinets. 4 Installing Procedure In this scenario, the TP48200A, components in the TP48200A, and related cables must be installed onsite. In addition, optional components may be required according to the onsite condition.
Before the installation, pay attention to the following items: The customer's technical engineers must be trained by Huawei and be familiar with the proper installation and operation methods. The number of onsite personnel depends on the engineering schedule and installation environment.

NOTE When installing components or cables, take proper electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection measures, for example, wear ESD gloves, to prevent electrostatic damage to the boards or electronic components.
Connect one end of the PGND cable to the site ground bar. Route the other end of the cable out of the cable outlet along the bottom left side of the cabinet, and connect the cable to the ground bar for the TP48200A. NOTICE...

This section describes the cabling direction of the TP48200A over the cable outlets. 9.3 Installing the AC Input Power Cable The AC input power cable for the TP48200A is used to connect the external power equipment and AC input circuit breakers on the PDU, feeding external power into the TP48200A.

9 Installing Cables 9.3 Installing the AC Input Power Cable The AC input power cable for the TP48200A is used to connect the external power equipment and AC input circuit breakers on the PDU, feeding external power into the TP48200A.

Install an OT terminal to both ends of the cable by referring to Assembling the OT Terminal and the Power Cable. This might be fatal. NOTICE l Power on a TP48200A or BBU within 7 days after unpacking it. If you power off a TP48200A or BBU for maintenance, restore power to the cabinet or BBU within 48 hours.

Step 1 Use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the external power supply and the ground to ensure that there is no short circuit. Step 2 Turn on the external power circuit breaker to power on the TP48200A. Step 3 Set the circuit breaker on the DC PDU to ON.
