How to install

This section describes how to install the software.
Carefully read the software user license agreement before installing the software and only install the software if you agree to the
terms.
● Do not edit, delete, or move the files copied during the installation. This software will become unable to

● When reinstalling this software, be sure to uninstall the software before reinstalling it.

Extract the downloaded file.

Double-click setup.exe in the extracted folder.
The installer starts and the setup wizard appears.

Install the software following the instructions on the screen.
When installation is complete, this software is registered in the Start menu.
● A shortcut for this software is created in [Start] — [Panasonic] — [WX-SR200 Series Settings Support Software].
● A pop up will appear when installing the Microsoft.NET Framework or the Visual C++ 2010 runtime (32 bit
version). Follow the instructions on the screen.
● The driver must be installed the first time a receiver is connected to the PC through a USB cable. Update the
Important driver from the USB serial device in the device manager by selecting the installation folder of the Settings
Support Software shown below.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Panasonic\WX-SR200_SET\Driver
If "WX-SR200 Series" does not appear up in the device manager, select the USB serial device and click
"Browse my computer for driver software" and then "Install from disk" to install the unsigned drivers from the
inf files below depending on your OS version.
For 32 bit OS
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Panasonic\WX-SR200_SET\Driver\x86\WX-SR200_Series_Driver.inf
For 64 bit OS
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Panasonic\WX-SR200_SET\Driver\x64\WX-SR200_Series_Driver.inf
