Walk test (monitoring the reception signal strength)

This section describes how to use the walk test. This function monitors the reception signal strength and the number assigned to
each connected antenna using the selected microphone. It allows you to monitor the levels at which microphone signals are
received by antennas.

Connect with a microphone, or receiver.

Select the [Walk Test] tab.
A Walk test [Start]/[Stop] buttons
Click the [Start] button to run the walk test using the selected microphone. Click the [Stop] button to stop performing the
walk test.
B Microphone selection setting (only when a receiver is connected)
Select the microphone for the walk test.
C Walk test result display
Area to display the walk test results. The horizontal axis is for the time received and the vertical axis is for the wireless
signal level.
D Connected antenna display
Displays which antenna the target microphone is connected to at that point in time.
E [Save] button
Saves the walk test results to a file.
The saved files can be opened with the Operations Support Software.

Click the [Start] button.
The walk test results are displayed.
Important

To save walk test results to a file, click the [Stop] button and then the E [Save]
button. The file is saved with the wtd extension.
● When performing the walk test while this software is connected to a microphone, turning the microphone OFF will
not stop the walk test. Click the [Stop] button in the software to stop the walk test.
