Protection
Do not allow used oil and petrol residues
into the sewer system or drains.
Dispose of used oil and petrol residues
in an environmentally friendly way – take
them to a disposal point.
Take the equipment, accessories and
packaging for environmentally friendly
recycling.
Machinery does not belong in do-
mestic waste.
Drain the petrol tank carefully and take
your equipment to a recycling point. The
plastic and metal components used can be
separated by type and therefore recycled.
We will dispose of the defective equipment
you send in, free of charge. Ask your dealer
about this.

Guarantee

We guarantee this equipment for 24
months. Commercial use will invali-
date the guarantee.
The guarantee does not cover dam-
age caused by natural wear, overload-
ing or improper use. Certain compo-
nents are subject to normal wear and
not covered by the guarantee. These
specifically include the: metal cutting
blade, thread reel, cutting thread,
thread cutter, air filter and spark plug.
Other damages excluded from the
warranty are motor damages caused
by using the wrong fuel or a wrongly
mixed fuel.
The guarantee is also conditional
on adherence to the instructions on
cleaning and maintenance.
Damages caused by material or man-
ufacturing defects will be corrected
free of charge by the provision of a
replacement or by repair.
This is conditional on the equipment
being returned to the dealer undis-
mantled and with proof of purchase
and guarantee.

Repair Service

Repairs not covered by the guarantee
can be carried out by our service cen-
tre for a fee. Our service centre will be
happy to produce a cost estimate for
you.
We can handle only equipment that is
sent in with adequate packaging and
postage payment.
Caution: Please do not hand in de-
fective appliances with fuel or oil still
in the tanks. Always empty the tanks
beforehand. Material damage (oil/fuel
escaping when the appliance is put on
the side or held upside down!) or fire
damage during transport will be at the
sender's expense.
In case of complaint or service, please
send your equipment cleaned and
with an indication of the fault to our
service address.
Equipment sent freight collect – as
bulky goods, by express or other
special freight – will not be accept-
ed.
We will dispose of the defective equip-
ment sent to us, free of charge.
