different colours
and materials.
The appliance may
not be plugged in
properly.
The voltage in your
home may not
correspond to
voltage indicated

Solution
The UV lamp is controlled
by a sensor in the bottom
of the appliance. This
sensor ensures that the
lamp goes out when the
appliance is 5cm off the
surface or the surface is
very dark.
Insert the plug into the wall
socket properly.
Check if the voltage in your
home is the same as the
voltage indicated on the
bottom of the appliance.
Do not press the appliance
into the fabric too hard.
Make sure you apply light
pressure so that the
appliance glides over the
fabric easily.
Take the appliance to your
dealer or a Philips service
centre. You can also
contact the Philips
Consumer Care Centre for
information.
Clean the infrared sensors
with the cleaning brush.
