7. Check the Rear
Facing Level Line
The red level line on the
side of the seat MUST
BE LEVEL with the
ground.
Check the level line
with child in the child
restraint when making
sure the line is level with
the ground.
If needed, rolled towels
may be placed under
the car seat, at the
vehicle seat bight, until
the level line is level with
the ground.
