Centrifugal clutch
Dismantle the vibration element (C)
together with the clamping sleeve for
possible replacement.
Dismantle the circlip and press out the
clutch drum.
Dismantle the circlip and heat the
clutch cover so the bearing can be
dismantled.
Check the inside diameter of the clutch
drum. If it exceeds 64.0 mm it should be
replaced.
Press the vibration element (C)
together with the clamping sleeve out
from the connection sleeve with the
help of a screwdriver for possible
replacement.
Dismantle the circlip using circlip pliers.
Press out the clutch drum using a
suitable punch and hammer.
Dismantle the circlip using circlip pliers.
Heat the clutch case to approx. 120°C
using a hot air gun.
Knock the edge of the cover against a
wooden block so the ball-bearing falls
out or use a hammer and punch.
Check the clutch drum for wear.
The diameter must not exceed 64.0
mm. If this is the case replace the
clutch drum.
