5.1 Preparation

5 Mounting/Installation
The manual call point is mounted and installed in three steps:
1. Preparation (see the chapter 'Preparation')
2. Installation (see the chapter 'Installation')
3. Electrical connection (see the chapter 'Installation')
For manual call point FDM243H, the surface-mounted cables are fed into the
housing from below.

Allen head screws

Fastening material and an Allen key SW 3.0 are available.
1. Push the keyhole cover (2) to the right.
2. Open the door with the key supplied (1).
3. Pull out the key and keep it in a safe place.
4. Close the keyhole cover.
Do not unscrew the four cross-head screws on the switching unit.
5. Unscrew the four Allen head screws (3) and remove the switching unit (4).
6. Determine how the cable should be entered in the housing from below.

Remove the cable gland (6), which is not required, and insert a V-pin
M20 x 1.5 (5).
