1 Safety Information

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• Do not use the unit near any heat sources, highly flammable sub-
stances, gases or explosives.
• Do not fold or crease the device during use.
• Do not crease the device by placing items on top of it during
storage.
• Never pull, twist or crease the cable.
• Neither pierce the device with, nor attach safety pins or other
spiky or sharp objects to the device.
• Do not use the device if you notice wear, damage or signs of im-
proper use.
• If a fault occurs, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Re-
pairs must only be carried out by an authorized specialist dealer
or other suitably qualified personnel.
• Do not modify or disassemble the device.
• Only use original accessory parts recommended by the manufac-
turer.
• Do not use the device at the same time as other devices which
deliver electrical impulses to the body.
• Do not use the unit near to equipment emitting a strong electric
or magnetic field, such as radios, microwaves or mobile phones.
This may impair the correct functioning of the unit.
• Operating the device in close proximity (e.g. in 1 meter distance)
to short- or microwave therapy equipment may result in failures
or injuries.
