Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
First read and understand the manual before using the welding helmet.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified
person or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
The auto darkening welding helmet is not suitable for laser welding or
laser cutting processes and gas welding.
Never disassemble the auto darkening filter cartridge.
Heat and radiation are released during arc-welding. The welding helmet
provides protection for your eyes and face. Wear appropriate protective
clothing in order to protect the rest of your body.
Before using the auto darkening helmet, check if all parts are clean and
inspect all parts for signs of mechanical wear or damages. If there are
cracked, scratched and pitted parts, replace the parts immediately.
Do not expose the unit to excessive temperatures or strong vibrations and
avoid strong mechanical stresses. Never place the welding helmet and the
auto darkening filter on a hot surface.
Please note that the welding helmet will not protect against severe impact
hazards.
Never use the welding helmet when working with grinding discs.
The welding helmet will not protect against explosions or corrosive liquids.
Do not modify the filter or the helmet. Only use original replacement parts.
Should the welding helmet does not darken upon striking an arc,
immediately stop welding.
Use the welding helmet only at temperatures of -10°C - +55°C.
Do not immerse the helmet in water or other fluids.
