Overview 4.1 Introduction: The ‘CALsys 1500BB’ provides a stable temperature source for laboratory calibration of radiation thermometers by comparison method up to a temperature range of 1500°C. The ‘CALsys 1500BB’... - Page 7 Silicon Carbide Cavity Open back panel sheet of CALsys 1500 and remove all Packing sheet from inside. Insert the 6 nos. silicon heater at back side of the inner chamber. As shown in below image. Insert the heaters in to the groves of SS chamber as per specified same sr.
- Page 8 Fix the 6 heater into the chamber and Connect all the aluminum strip in series. Heating Element connection. connect the Phase and Netural wire as per given picture. Open the front plate of CALsys 1500BB and remove all packing sheets from inside. Open holding ceramic clamp as shown in figure.
- Page 9 Insert cavity and ensure that the tail of cavity fix to the groove on the back panel. And make sure cavity properly insert at back panel hole as shown in image. After insert the cavity tight the holding cap of SS chamber by screw driver as per shown picture.

Note: All other controller parameters are company set and locked. It is recommended not to change them. When the source is operated at any temperature above ambient, the front face and plate become hot. Down will switch the CALsys 1500BB ON or OFF to raise or lower the temperature. The displayed temperature will gradually change until it reaches the setpoint temperature. -

6. Operation of Controller FRONT PANEL LAYOUT Operator Buttons 6.1 The Temperature Controller The controller has a dual display, the upper display indicates the measured temperature, and the lower display indicates the desired temperature or set point. 6.2 Altering the Set point To change the set point of the controller use the UP and DOWN keys to raise and lower the set point to the required value. -

Communication can be done by clicking on connect and select correct COM port address (fig. 1) where furnace is connected.
