3. Installation

3.1 Preparation of wall mounting

Minimum distance of the hood body:
for glass ceramic and cast iron hobs
65 cm.
for gas hob 70 cm.
for coal / oil / wood firing 85 cm.

• Place the upper edge of the hood
canopy holder (11.1) min. 931 mm
above the hob and mark the centre
of the holes in the holder.
• Place the upper edge of the small
fixing bracket (11.2) X mm above
the lower edge of the holder (11.1)
(X = height of the upper chimney
element).
Mark the centre of the holes in the
bracket.
• Place the upper edge of the large
fixing bracket (11.3) 1-2 mm below
the ceiling or upper boundary.
The distance (y) to the lower edge
of the small bracket (11.2) must
not exceed the height of the upper
chimney element.
• Drill the points marked with a
ø 8 mm drill bit.
• Insert the rubber plugs (12) into the

holes and fix the brackets and the
hood canopy holder (11.1, 11.2, 11.3)
to the wall using the screws (13).
