Customizable features

Your vehicle includes a variety of electronic features that can be
personalized to suit your preferences. Programming these pref-
erences requires specialized equipment and may be performed
by your Toyota dealer.

Customizing vehicle features

When customizing vehicle features, ensure that the vehicle is parked
in a safe place with the shift lever in P (automatic transmission) or N
(manual transmission) and the parking brake set.
Changing by using the multi-information display

Changing by using the inside lock knob (Except for Malaysia)

Alarm sound settings can be changed with the following proce-
dures.

Close and unlock all the doors.

Turn the engine switch to the "LOCK" position and check that the
alarm is disarmed.

Open any of the doors.
4 Turn on and off the emergency flashers 5 times quickly.

Close the opened door.

Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
7 Operate the inside lock knob of the driver's door as follows:
Lock → Unlock → Lock → Unlock → Lock
When the interior light is in the door position and the customization is
completed, the interior light turns on for two seconds.
Customized setting is changed in the following order each time the
above procedures are done:
OFF → Emergency flashers → Emergency flashers and sound
