V4.0 Digital Laser and Contact Tachometer 8714941 DISPLAY Scan - Press the measure button (I), the data will update and ‘SCAN’ will show. Hold - Release the measure button, the data will freeze and ‘Hold’ will appear. Unit Display - Displays measuring units. -

8714941 Digital Laser and Contact Tachometer V4.0 RPM TOT BUTTON The RPM TOT button (D) allows you to choose between two groups of functions: RPM and REV. Press and hold the RPM TOT button for approximately 3 seconds to switch between the two functions. - Page 9 V4.0 Digital Laser and Contact Tachometer 8714941 Release the measurement button. You may choose to save the reading in memory. LOW RPM MEASUREMENT Measuring a low RPM rotation shaft requires the following method: Attach additional reflective marks. You may choose to save the reading in memory. MEMORY MODE The tachometer can store and recall 10 selectable data sets. Each set will contain a MAX, MIN and AVG measurement. -
