    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Tools and Parts Tools needed Check that you have everything necessary for correct installation.   • Page 6 Recommended/Minimum Clearances Most installations require a minimum 5 in. (12.7 cm) clearance behind the dryer for the exhaust vent with elbows. See “Venting Requirements.” NOTE: Observe all governing codes and ordinances. (60.6 cm) †Height with casters is 32½” (82.6 cm). Recessed Area and Closet Installation Your dryer needs a certain amount of space around it for proper ventilation and for easier installation and servicing.

    Electrical Requirements WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Do not remove ground prong. Do not use an adapter. Do not use an extension cord. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, or electrical shock. A 120-volt, 60-Hz., AC-only, 15- or 20- ampere fused electrical supply is required.

    CYCLE DESCRIPTIONS Cycle Control knob Permanent Press Cycle This automatic cycle shuts off the dryer when the selected dryness is reached. The Cycle Control knob does not move until the load is almost dry. After the cool down, the knob automatically turns to an Off area and tumbling stops.
