ASP Description
Auxiliary Port Signals
The auxiliary port on the ASP is a male, EIA/TIA-232 DTE, DB-25 plug to which you can attach a
channel service unit/data service unit (CSU/DSU) or other equipment in order to access the switch
from the network. (See Figure 6.) Table 2 lists the EIA/TIA-232 signals used on this port.
The asynchronous auxiliary port supports hardware flow control and modem control.
