i. Disconnect output filter capacitors
(All colored wires).
j. Turn on input voltage.
k. Apply 12 volts DC to bus.
l. After pushing the RESET and START
buttons, remove ALARM II, otherwise
the unit will shutdown from undervoltage.
m.Observe output stair step waveform on
all three phases to see if the transistors
are firing correctly, by comparing to
Figure 3.
n. With voltage applied, operate the
START and STOP buttons. Also verify
the operation of the voltage ramp-up
circuitry.
p. Reconnect the output filter caps.
Repeat above steps and compare to
Figure 4. If the waveform is not smooth,
check output filter capacitors (C17-C34)
according to Section 5.
q. Remove DC power supply connected
in step H above.
r. Check the DC capacitors (C7-C16)
according to Section 5.
s. Reconnect the DC bus fuse (F3) and
DC filter fuses (F1, F2).
