4 Safety

Main switch
The hydraulic external vibrators of series
NHG work with operating pressures of up to
300 bar.
Make sure that the hydraulic unit is
switched
off
and
secured
against
unintended switching on during installation
and before other work on the hydraulic
external vibrator and the supply lines.
Before starting operation al hoses (P; T; [L])
must be tightly connected.
A hose under pressure coming loose can
cause severe injury and environmental
damage.
The hydraulic external vibrator as well as
part of the structure may come loose
because of vibration. Falling parts can
cause damage to persons, environment
and material. Locking devices must be
used.
Screw connections must be checked and, if
necessary, retightened after 1 hour of
operation and then at regular intervals
(normally every three months).
For critical mounting situations safety
measures with clamp and wire rope are
beneficial, so that the vibrator cannot drop
down and damage the hydraulic hoses.
A suspension set is available on request.
In the vicinity of the structure connected to
the hydraulic external vibrator the noise
level may exceed 85 dB(A). When working
in the noise area ear defenders are required,
if the noise level exceeds 85 dB(A).
Technical changes to the equipment may effect the characteristics of
these hydraulic external vibrators or even damage the units and will cause
the rejection of any warranty claims.
