Heavy-Duty Locking Storage Cabinet
Your new storage cabinet is simple to assemble. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver and a rubber mallet; we've
provided all the other hardware and tools. You can assemble the cabinet on your own, but it will be easier if
you have another adult assist you. Use the pictures below to identify the contents before you begin.

Position the shelves so that the pegs
match up with the holes in the sidewall,
with the finished edges against the floor
and grooves facing up (see illustration).
Insert 2 barrel nuts into the pilot holes
on the bottom of the shelf, closest to
the sidewall. Turn each barrel nut so
that its hole aligns with the bolt hole in
the edge of the shelf, as shown in the
inset at left. Then, use the Allen wrench
and 2 long bolts to secure the shelf.
Repeat with the other two shelves.

  • Page 2 4. Insert 8 small pegs into the edges of the upper back panel. Insert 6 small pegs into the edges of the lower back panel. Slide the back panels into the grooves. 5. Insert 2 large pegs into each brace board. Position brace board at back of unit and insert barrel nut, turn- ing to align with bolt hole.
  • Page 3 7. Turn the cabinet right-side-up. Complete the shelves: a) Position the shelf brackets at the heights you desire, placing 3 pairs on each sidewall. b) Attach each lock catch to the underside of the center shelf, using the 6 lock catch screws. c) Secure 2 magnetic catches to the top shelf using 2 magnetic catch screws for each.
