• Height and angle adjustable footplate
The footplate comes with a range of positions to accommodate fixed flexion and to maintain
the foot position for users with drop foot. The footplate can also be removed or flipped up to
allow uninterrupted access with a hoist.
• Interchangeable and adjustable back cushions
There is a choice of eight interchangeable pressure management back cushions that enable the
chair to be adapted to a single user's changing needs or to adapt the chair to another user. This
ensures greater longevity of its usage.
In addition, all cushions can be repositioned to suit a user's individual seating preferences and
fibres added or removed from fibre filled cushions to adjust firmness. Covers can also be
removed for cleaning.
• Interchangeable seat cushions
There is a choice of six pressure management seat cushions all designed with different levels of
pressure management in mind. In addition, there is a full seat cover and chaise to reduce the risk
of pressure areas developing due to pinch points and to reduce shear and friction.
• Contoured leg channels
The contoured leg channels in the leg rest provide comfort and support by reducing the risk of a
user crossing their legs or from their legs falling off the edge of the leg rest.
• Portering
The unique wing handles allow the Boston to be
moved easily when an individual is in either a reclined
or semi reclined position. There is also a push handle
for normal movement.
