Chair Delivery
The chair will have been set up at the date of delivery and supplied with a full set of documents.
If you have any questions please speak to the person or company that took delivery.
Pressure Care Management
The Boston has been designed to incorporate a number of pressure management features. The use
of these features will depend on your assessment of the client's requirements.
Please ensure that you understand the features and how they can be used.
For the benefit of your client we always recommend that those setting up or operating the Boston
are trained on the use of the chair and in pressure management and postural care.
Weight Limits
The Boston comes as standard with an overall weight limit of 159 kg (25 stone) and with a maximum
leg rest weight limit of 57 kg (9 stone).
If you choose certain pressure management seat cushions then the overall

weight limit will be reduced to 127 kg (20 stone) for these cushions. These include the Airform and
Celliform cushions. The maximum leg rest weight limit will always remain at 57 kg (9 stone).
Please check the weight details on each of the pressure seat cushion options or ask your supplier for
further details.
