If the LED lamp is in one of the four
light programs (LOW, ACTION,
SIGNAL or DEFENCE), it illuminates
after a change (through rotation of the
selection ring) to another light
program.
If the light program is changed in such a manner,
the LED lamp is automatically placed in the function
in which it would have been if the light program had
been directly selected (e.g. for the SIGNAL light
program, the function SOS).
Energy modes
The LED lamp has two energy functions (energy modes):
• Energy saving
(if the duration of light output is more important
than its brightness)
• Constant current
(if the brightness is more important than the
duration of the light output)
Changing the energy function
(energy modes):
Switch off the LED lamp

The on/off switch [2] must be in the LOW light
■
program position
If the on/off switch [2] is tapped eight times
■
and then pressed and thereafter the brightness
suddenly increases, before it then gradually
reduces to zero, the LED lamp is in Energy
Saving mode
If the brightness remains constant for approxi-
■
mately two seconds after the sudden increase,
before almost instantly reducing to zero, the
lamp is in Constant Current mode
Using this procedure you can change between
■
the two energy functions
Focus
The LED lamp can be continuously focussed by
sliding the lamp head [1] forward and backwards.
If necessary a desired focus setting can be locked
using the fast lock function.
Turn the lamp head [1] to the left (lock position)

To release the lock again, turn the lamp
■
head [1] to the right (unlock position)
Emergency mode / emergency light
function
If emergency mode is activated, the lamp has an
emergency light function.
Connect the LED lamp to the connected char-
■
ging socket [IV]
3 Marker light on the charging socket illuminates
in blue
If the mains voltage fails, the LED lamp illumi-
■
nates automatically
If the emergency light function is activated, the
■
LED lamp continues to shine, as soon as it is
taken out of the charging fixture [V] and the
charging process is interrupted
To activate Emergency mode, touch the on/off
■
switch [2] in the light program ACTION for
approximately ten seconds
3 The LED lamp illuminates for ten seconds and
then starts to flash
• 4 x flashing: Emergency mode activated
• 2 x flashing: Emergency mode deactivated
3 Repeat the process to change between the
activated and deactivated settings
3 The LED lamp signals this by flashing accordin-
gly
