SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS

Recognize safety information. This is the safety alert symbol . When you see this symbol on
the unit and in instructions of manuals be alert to the potential for personal injury.
Understand these signal words: DANGER, WARNING, and CAUTION. These words are
used with the safety alert symbol. DANGER identifies the most serious hazards which will
result in severe personal injury or death. WARNING signifies hazards which could result in
personal injury or death. CAUTION is used to identify unsafe practices which may result in
minor personal injury, product damage, or property damage. NOTE is used to highlight
suggestions which will result in enhanced installation, reliability, or operation.

For your safety, the information in this manual must be followed to minimize the risk of fire or explosion, electric
shock, or to prevent property damage, personal injury, or loss of life.
• This unit must be properly installed in accordance with the Installation Instructions before it is used.
• Immediately repair or replace all electric service cords that have become frayed or otherwise damaged.
• Unplug or disconnect the unit at the fuse box or circuit breaker before making any repairs.
NOTE: We strongly recommend that any servicing be performed by a qualified technician.

This manual provides information for ease of installation, operation and maintenance.
All models are designed for through the wall installation. Separate installation instructions are
included with all accessory components.
