9. Reader Alarms
Whenever a fault event occurs with the reader, an alarm message is displayed and 3 beeps are
emitted to make user aware of the condition.

Bad battery detected The reader detected a bad battery and the battery must be replaced.
Battery too hot
Battery too cold
Low external power USB voltage is below 4.5 V. Charging is internally suspended.

The reader internal temperature is over 80°C. The reader will shut down
automatically.
Please contact Biomark customer service for this procedure. Do not
attempt to replace the battery yourself as this can damage the reader and
will void any existing warranty.
The battery temperature is over 40°C. Charging is internally suspended.
The battery temperature is below 0°C. Charging is internally suspended.
The battery voltage is below 10%.
The battery voltage is 0% and it must be charged. The reader will shut
down automatically.
