Configuring Reader

3.3 Bluetooth Settings

Pressing the (Left) key while in the Main Menu Screen will display the Bluetooth settings
menu.
This menu allows you to manage all available Bluetooth actions.
Parameters that can be adjusted are:
On/Off - Enables or disables Bluetooth communication of the HPR Lite reader. The default

setting for this option is Enabled.
Select device - Allows you to switch the reader into Slave mode or scan for available
•
Bluetooth devices in the vicinity to connect to. Establishing Bluetooth connection with any
device from the list will switch the reader into Master mode. The default for this option is
Slave.
Authentication - Enables or disables SSP (Secured Simple Pairing). The default setting
•
for this option is Enabled. The default PIN is 1234.
About - Displays the reader's Bluetooth information.
