Operating instructions SATA air carbon regulator

Read these operating instructions thoroughly and carefully before use.

uct or keep them easily accessible for everyone at any time!

1. General information

The SATA air carbon regulator, hereinafter air regulator, is part of the SATA
breathing protection equipment. The various components of the breathing
protection equipment can be put together as required to form a breathing
protection apparatus.

The system description contains important overriding information about the
breathing protection equipment.

These operating instructions refer to using the product as part of a breath-
ing protection apparatus and contain important product-specific information.

2. Safety Instructions

Before using the PPE breathing protection equipment, every user is
obliged to check the capacity of the air supply system, possibly also in
terms of the impact on other users of the system.
The code "H" indicates that the compressed air feed tube is heat-resist-
ant. The code "S" indicates that the compressed air feed tube is antistatic.
Before operation, the user must proceed with a risk assessment regarding
possible harmful components in the workplace, e.g. nitrogen.
■ Check the functions and check the air regulator for leaks every time
before it is used, with the breathing protection hood connected.
■ Replace the filter cartridge when it expires.
■ Only connect air regulator to compressed air safety tube.
■ Use quick-action safety couplings.
■ Do not use air regulator as a tool.
■ Do not disassemble air regulator.
■ Replace/do not use defective air regulator.
■ Send defective air regulator to SATA for repairs.
■ Manipulations of the air volume flow controller are prohibited.
■ Do not modify the air regulator.
