The RS232 interface and the FO2 channel are the master channels. The 2 RTU masters must be
connected directly to this mini star coupler.
The mini star coupler works in extended mode with the connected masters.

The FO1 channel is an additional slave channel here. FO3, FO4, and FO5 are also slave channels.
The FO5 channel is used for cascading other mini star couplers/devices.
The cascaded mini star couplers work in compatibility mode in the star topology.
