5.2
Configuration for Oventrop-Portal
In most systems, the Datalog CS-BS-1 WLAN can be connected to Oventrop-Portal
without any configuration. For further information, see chap. 7.14 on page 34.
In order to access the Datalog CS-BS-1 WLAN over the Oventrop-Portal server,
proceed as follows:
Î Note down the alphanumeric 8-10-digit code (Token) indicated on the back of
the housing.
Î Enter www.portal.oventrop.com into the address bar of the browser and click
Register.
Î Wait for the confirmation e-mail to arrive.
Î Click Claim a new device.
Î Enter the alphanumeric 8-10-digit code (Token).
5.2.1 WLAN connection to Oventrop-Portal (internet access)
The WLAN connection to Oventrop-Portal can be established either with the
WPS function or over the Web interface. For this purpose, make sure that the
WLAN country setting is correct, see chap. 7.14 on page 34.
With the WPS function, the Datalog CS-BS-1 WLAN can be connected to the
router by pressing a single button.

Using WPS for establishing the connection can lead to security vulner-
abilities.
Î In order to connect the Datalog CS-BS-1 WLAN to the router via WPS, keep
the button pressed for 5 s.
The WLAN LED will flash.
Î Press the WPS button of the router.
The connection will be established.

Pay attention to the router documentation.
