Operating control LED

Operating control LED

The operating control LED indicates the operating status of the Datalog CS-BS-1
WLAN by issuing flashing signals and colours.

Button

WLAN LED
LAN LED
With the button, the following functions can be carried out:
• WLAN:
The button can be used for activating or deactivating the WLAN connection, re-
spectively. If the WLAN is activated, the WLAN LED will glow green.
Î In order to activate or deactivate the WLAN, respectively, press the button for
approx. 1 s.
• WPS:
Note
Using WPS for establishing the connection can lead to security vulner-
abilities.
Î In order to activate or deactivate the WPS function, respectively, press the but-
ton for approx. 5 s.
For further information, see chap. 5.2.1 on page 30 and chap. 7.15 on page 35!
Note
Pay attention to the router documentation.
• Reset:
The button can be used for carrying out a reset in order to set back the configu-
ration of the CS-BS-1 WLAN to the factory settings.
Î In order to reset the device, press the button for approx. 20 s.
The device will restart, the settings and passwords set back to factory settings. This
process may take several minutes.
