Format Memory Card

Format memory cards. To begin
formatting, choose a memory card slot
and select [Yes]. Note that formatting
permanently deletes all pictures and other
data on the card. Before formatting, be
sure to make backup copies as required.

During Formatting
Do not turn the camera off or remove memory cards until the message
[Format memory card] clears from the display.

Save User Settings

Frequently-used combinations of settings can be assigned to
the U1 to U3 positions on the mode dial ( 0 102).

Reset User Settings

Reset settings for U1 to U3 to default values ( 0 104).
