  • Page 64 1) Attach a Peter built second stage adjusting tool between the second stage and the low pressure hose. WARNING: Be sure that the LP hose is in the LOW PRESSURE PORT. 2) Close all other open ports with the appropriate plugs.
  • Page 65 3) Connect to a high pressure (3000 psi) gas source. 4) Open the supply pressure slowly.
  • Page 66 5) Adjust the intermediate pressure by moving the adjusting screw to increase or decrease tension on the intermediate pressure spring. (Purge the second stage after each adjustment.)
  • Page 67 6) The Intermediate pressure should be adjusted to 140 psi +/- 5psi. Note: it may be necessary to purge the regulator several times to allow the HP seat to “break in” and hold pressure.
