2.16

Technical modifications

The device has been constructed in accordance with the current state-of-the-
art and the applicable safety regulations. The illustrations and specifications
on these instructions are subject to technical modifications which are required
in order to improve the device.
Unauthorized modifications and changes to the device and its control unit are
prohibited. Failure to comply with this voids the operating licence!
Please use only original spare parts. Any liability for damage or injury proven
to be the result of the use of non-genuine spare parts is excluded.
2.17

Warranty

Wellsystem grants the customer a warranty of 24 months starting from hand-
over. This is a guarantee that the goods do not possess any faults which
eliminate or decrease the value or the capability of the device for normal us-
age. Claims on the part of the customer for consumable parts such as colla-
gen pressure lamps and starters are excluded.
2.18

Warranty and liability exclusions

Warranty and liability claims for personal injury and property damage are
excluded if they are the result of one or more of the following causes:
improper use of the device;
improper assembly, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the
device;
operating the device with faulty safety equipment or improperly attached
or non-functional safety and protective equipment including warning
signs;
not complying with the information in the operating instructions regarding
transport, storage, assembly, commissioning, operation and mainte-
nance;
the use of untrained personnel;
unauthorized changes to the device or the control unit;
inadequate monitoring of parts subject to wear;
repairs carried out improperly;
the use of non-original spare parts;
emergencies and disasters resulting from the influence of foreign materi-
als or force majeure.
