Formatting the Memory Card
@ N o r m a l l y , i t i s n o t n e c e s s a r y t o f o r m a t t h e
Memory Card.
I f t h e M e m o r y C a r d p e r f o r m a n c e b e c o m e s

u n s t a b l e ( r e c o r d i n g o r p l a y b a c k f a i l s , e t c . ) ,
t r y t o f o r m a t i t .
If a message to prompt you to check the

Memory Card comes up, it will be
necessary to format it in order to use it on
t h e S D M u l t i A V D e v i c e .
*By formatting, all data stored in the
Memory Card (e.g., still pictures, MPEG4
moving pictures, voice data, music data)
are erased.

music files were recorded, then format it.

necessary data on a personal computer,

Format may take a little time. Wait until the
