Dynamic Range Control (DRC)
The DRC function ensures that quieter passages are better heard when
playing DAB+ radio stations when the radio is used in a noisy environment.
• In DAB+ radio mode, press the INFO/MENU button for about 2 seconds
to call up the DAB settings menu.
• Press the TUNE+ or TUNE- button several times or turn the dial until
DRC appears on the LCD display.
• Press the dial to confirm the selection. If necessary, press the TUNE+ or
TUNE- button or turn the dial to select DRC high, DRC low or DRC off.
• Press the dial to confirm the selection.
Changing the station order
You can sort the order of DAB+ radio stations in the station list by name
(Alphanumeric) or by program groups (Ensemble).
• In DAB+ radio mode, press the INFO/MENU button for about 2 seconds
to call up the DAB settings menu.
• Press the TUNE+ or TUNE- button several times or turn the dial until
Station order appears on the LCD display.
Press the dial to confirm the selection.
• Briefly press the TUNE+ or TUNE- button or turn the dial to select
Alphanumeric or Ensemble.
• Press the dial to confirm the selection.
Station information
In DAB+ radio mode, you can show additional station information on the
LCD display:
Briefly press the INFO / MENU button repeatedly to display the following
station information:
• Scrolling text (radio text) – Title
• Artist
• Signal strength (bar)
• Programme type
• Group name
• Multiplex number/frequency
• Signal error
• Audio bitrate (kbps)
• Time
• Date
Note: The amount of station information available may vary depending on
the selected station.
