-Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with
the device.
-Before connecting the device to the mains make sure the cable
and plug are in perfect condition, also check that the voltage on
the device is valid for electrical installation.
-If you detect that the power cable or plug are damaged, do not
use the device and do not try to replace the cable. Go directly
to the authorized service JOCCA where it will be replaced
properly.
-The power cable can not be in contact or nearby the hot parts
of the device.
-Do not immerse the device into the water or other liquid.
-Do not pull the electric cable to disconnect the device from the
mains, always pull the plug.
-If your appliance has been dropped or has fallen into the water
or other liquid, do not use it and do not try to repair it. Bring the
device to the authorized technical service JOCCA.
-Do not move the appliance during its operation.
-Always use the spare parts and accessories JOCCA for your
safety and better operation of the device.
-Use the device on a flat and horizontal surface
-Do not place the device near or over a gas or electric burner,
neither inside or nearby a hot oven or microwave oven.
-Leave enough space above and beside the device for proper
air circulation.
-Unwind the electric cable completely to prevent overheating.
-Respect the maximum filling level: 0.4L
-This device is completely disconnected only when you unplug
it.
-Unplug the device whenever you have finished its use.
-Do not use the device with wet hands and bare feet.
-Keep the food bowl in the freezer before preparing the
mixture.
-It is recommended to put the bowl in the freezer in an upright
position with a plastic bag (FIG. 2).
-Make sure the bowl is clean and empty before putting it in the
freezer.
-Do not use sharp tools for the food bowl.
-The freezer should be about -18 º C or at lower temperature.
-Note that if you add alcohol into the mix of ice cream or sorbet,
this is for the freezing process.
-If the device gets too hot it will stop. If this happens, unplug the
device from the mains, place the switch in OFF position and let
it cool.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
-Before using the device clean it with a damp cloth and let it dry.
-Place the bowl in the freezer 8 hours before using it (FIG. 2).
-Prepare ice cream or sorbet and leave the mixture in the
refrigerator before using the device. See the section of recipes.
To use the device (FIG. 3):
-Fix the main unit with the lid pressing slightly until you hear a
click.
-Fix the mixing spatula in the main unit with pressing slightly.
-Take the food bowl out the freezer and put the spatula with
lid and main unit inside the food bowl. To fix it properly rotate
clockwise to get the lock position (FIG. 3).
-Once the device is ready plug it to the mains and place the
switch On / Off in the position ON to switch it on. Note that the
device must be switched on before filling it with sorbet or ice
cream mixture
-Fill the bowl with the mixture through the food hole keeping 3
cm. free to the edge - the mixture can increase the volume during
the process.
-Let the ice cream or sorbet mixing until it gets the desired
consistency, this usually takes not more than 30 minutes.
NOTE Do not interrupt the mixing process, if the device is on
and off the mixture might freeze being inside the bowl and it will
prevent moving the mixing spatula.
To prevent overheating of the device the direction of the spatula
rotation will be different depending on the food density. If you
note that the spatula is changing direction continuously, this
