6 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
DVD / HDD Controls
DVD/VHS
Stand-by/on switch
Press to switch the unit from on to stand-by mode
or vice versa. In stand-by mode, the unit is still consuming
a small amount of power.
Switching this unit into standby mode does not
disconnect it from the mains.
DIRECT TV REC
Direct TV record to DVD.
Launch the TV GUIDE system.
Smart Wheel: Press up, down, left or right
to select the Function in the menu.
ENTER
Rotate the wheel to select the parameter.
ENTER: Select or save a setting.
Still picture or time loop playback.
Display the programme information from
the TV GUIDE or the Banner.
CANCEL
Cancel a function.
INPUT SELECT
Switch button of the AV input between AV1, AV2
AV3 (front) and AV4.
MANUAL SKIP
Jumps forward 30 seconds.

ShowView menu.

Launch DVD sub menus.
SLOW/SEARCH
Search or slow motion playback.
STOP
Stops recording, replay or forward / reverse action
PAUSE
Pause a recording or playback.
REC
Start the recording.
TIMER
Switch timer on and off.
EXT LINK
Record with external recording control.
AUDIO
Select the disc audio canal.
DUBBING
To copy from DVD to HDD.
TV
Turn the television set on and off.
Select the AV input on the television set.
AV
CH: Select the channel on the television set.
VOLUME
CH
VOLUME: Volume control of the television set.
