If your Creative Arcades 3500 arcade screen is black while the lights are on, try the following steps:

1. Check the Video Connection – Ensure the video cable is properly connected between the JAMMA board and the screen. If your setup has a VGA connection, try plugging it into another system to confirm the monitor is working.

2. Verify Power to the Motherboard – If the CPU fan is spinning, the board is receiving power. If not, check the power connections and try pressing the power switch with the PC board isolated.

3. Inspect the BIOS Battery – If the BIOS battery is missing or dead, replace it, as it may affect the boot process.

4. Test the JAMMA Board Separately – Disconnect the JAMMA board and try powering the PC board separately to determine if the issue is with the mainboard or the JAMMA interface.

5. Look for Signs of Boot Activity – If the system powers on but does not display anything, it may not be posting. This could indicate a hardware failure.

If the issue persists, further troubleshooting of the motherboard and video output may be needed.
