5.6 Replacing the battery

The HOAF WeedAir® 50/75i features a battery (type AA, 1.5V) that provides the
electricity needed to ignite the burners.
This battery is sufficient for the long-term operation of the ignition mechanism.
If the battery is empty, the burners will not
ignite.
However, failure to ignite the burners can have several causes:
• The gas bottle is empty.
• The gas valves are not open.
• The burners are clogged with dirt.
• The spark plug is damaged or bent.
First check the above points before replacing the
battery.
Replace the battery as follows:
1. Open the ignition button by turning it
anti-clockwise in order to access the
battery holder.
2. Remove the button with the spring.
3. Replace the battery.
4. Install the button with the spring
again and tighten it by turning it
clockwise.
Although
delivered with a new battery, this battery may
drain relatively quickly due to the time that the
machine has been in storage.
