2.5 Safety regulations

The HOAF WeedAir® 50/75i meets the basic safety and health requirements
stated in the relevant directives of the European Community. However, improper
or careless use can create dangerous situations.
Beware of dangerous situations.
Only connect the HOAF WeedAir® 50/75i to gas
bottles for vapour intake.
Never use the HOAF WeedAir® 50/75i with
100% butane gas.
The HOAF WeedAir® 50/75i should only be used
on a paved surface.
Never use matches or a lighter to ignite the
HOAF WeedAir® 50/75i.

Influence of the wind

Be careful if there is a strong wind blowing. Wind may seriously affect the flames.
In that case:
• Flames may be stifled underneath the burner housing.
Sometimes, the burner must be turned up in order to avoid the flames from
being stifled.
• The flames underneath the burner housing may be blown out.
In that case, the work must be stopped immediately because this will
endanger the tool carrier and the surroundings.
If there is too much wind, stop working with the
HOAF WeedAir® 50/75i.
