About the operating modes
The operating mode determines how the monitor reacts to the load.
Run mode is used for production. All setpoint alarms are active in Run mode.
Setup mode is used for die setup. Only capacity limits are active in Setup mode.
Learn mode is used to teach the monitor new alarm setpoints. After the unit is
placed in Learn mode, the next cycle through the stations is used to generate a new
benchmark and new high and low setpoints. The monitor then switches to Run
mode to continue production.
To change the operating mode

Note: When Setup mode is enabled, the capacity is displayed in place of the % variation.
This is a reminder that only capacity limits are active in Setup mode.
Notes:
The figure above illustrates a four-station configuration. If less than four stations
are configured, the unused stations will remain blank.
The number of stations required can be changed from the Station Menu, which is
covered later in this section.
