▶ Align the storage tank so that the drainage pipe [1] is not closed off
by the storage tank support.

Hydraulic connection

NOTICE:
Leaks from using non-approved thread sealing compound!
If pipe threads are caulked with hemp:
▶ Use temperature-resistant thread sealing compound
(e.g. Neo Fermit).
NOTICE:
No solar-heated water from incorrectly installed flow and return
pipes!
To enable the heat transfer medium to flow from the collector into the
storage tank through different densities and for optimal venting:
▶ Always install flow and return pipes with a rising gradient to the
storage tank.
▶ Bend the flow and return pipes with a sufficiently large radius.

Connecting the flow pipe

The installation of the flow pipe depends on the solar thermal system.
▶ Remove transport protection from the collector connections.
▶ Push the short solar hose [2] with hose clips onto the collector
connection.
▶ Tighten the circlip when hose clip is located directly in front of the
bead.
NOTICE:
Leak from the storage tank connection!
The gasket can be damaged by over-tightening of the screw connection.
▶ Hand-tighten the storage tank connection pipe and then tighten with

a ½turn using a spanner (corresponds to approx. 35 Nm).

▶ Screw the storage tank connection pipe [4] with a gasket [1] onto the
storage tank connection (solar flow).
▶ Push the solar hose [2] with hose clip [3] onto the storage tank
connection pipe.
▶ Tighten the circlip when hose clip is located directly in front of the
bead.

Connecting the return pipe

▶ Push union nut [1] over the collector connection.
▶ Place clamping washer [2] behind the bead on the collector
