7 Installing the MTSS flat roof frame
WARNING:
Risk to life from falling from roof!
▶ Whilst working on the roof, take all necessary precautions against a
possible fall.
▶ If there is not any independent anti-fall safety device, wear personal
protective equipment.
NOTICE:
Damage to the roof from incorrect form of stabilisation!
▶ Consider the roof statics when selecting the form of stabilisation.
NOTICE:
Roof leaks from damaged roof membrane!
▶ Lay out standard protective building mats to protect the roof
membrane.
▶ Lay profiles and installation material only on these protective
building mats.
To facilitate installation, first tighten all screws by hand.
7.1

Installing the wind cross on the supports

▶ Screw flat profiles together to form a wind cross.

Two positions are possible for installing the wind cross on the assembly
stand.

▶ Install wind cross with hexagon bolts and washers on the assembly
stand.

7.2

Installing angle profiles with 2 collectors

1. Slide the angle profiles into each other.
2. Screw the angle profiles together with hexagon bolts,
washers and nuts.
