Components
The V4410S-1 video switch card can accommodate up to 8 video inputs per card. Each card
cage can accommodate up to 16 V14410S-HD cards, for 128 inputs by 8 outputs. Associated
components identified in this document include rear panels V4411RP-BNC and V4411RP-RIB,
terminators V75T-1 and V75TR-1, and coaxial ribbon cables V44RC-21-1 and V44RCB-12-1.
Warning: Disconnect power from all units. The Matrix 44 card cage power switch can be
accessed by loosening the four captive screws on the front panel of the card cage.
Do not apply power until all procedures are complete and all connections made.
Setting DIP Switches
1. Using a static-free work surface, loosen the captive screws on the front panel of the Matrix 44
card cage containing the expander card.
2. The video switch cards are located at the extreme left of the card cage, as viewed from the
front of the card cage. Locate DIP switch U7 on the video switch card.
3. Set the DIP switch on each card, using the following table. Reseat the cards in the cage and
tighten the captive screws to secure the front panel when finished.
