8. Safety features of the model

The model is equipped with some safety features that help to prevent damage to the model and injuries to the pilot
and other people.

8.1 Virtual pilot

If you lose control of the model during a flight, move the right-hand joystick to the centre.
The model will use the gyroscope to automatically resume a normal flight path.

8.2 Fail safe

If the model moves out of range of the remote control or the signal is lost, the fail safe function will be activated and
the model will automatically start to descend.

8.3 Timer

The remote control features a 5-minute timer to remind you when to initiate landing.

8.4 Deep discharge

The deep discharge protection function prevents permanent damage to the battery.
If the battery voltage drops below 3.0 V:
• The motor power is automatically reduced.
• The model starts to descend.
• The model can be controlled.
If the battery voltage drops below 2.8 V:
• The motors are turned off.
• The model cannot be controlled.

8.5 Remote control batteries

The remote control will beep constantly when the batteries need to be replaced.
Land the model immediately and replace the batteries before the next flight.

8.6 Motor lock

The model features a motor lock function. It stopps the motors and prevents starting/restarting.
