8. Completion of Model Vehicle
Before you can use your model you have to install the missing remote control components such as receiver, steering
servo, cruise control and drive battery.
a) Taking off the car body
The car body is secured with 4 holding brackets (1 and 2)
which have to be slid out of the retaining pins from the side.
Afterwards the body (3) can be lifted off towards the top.
b) Installation of steering servo
In order to achieve a precisely adjusted and exactly work-
ing steering you should definitely use a high-quality stand-
ard servo (1) for the steering.
Before placing the servo lever (2) in a 90° angle to the servo
onto the servo axle, in accordance with the illustration, make
sure, that the steering servo is exactly in centre position.
Our tip:
To do this, use the remote control system and the steering servo and set the steering trim on the
transmitter in centre position.
Doing this you ensure that the servo is running in centre position and the servo lever is screwed to-
gether in the correct position with the servo.
