Trace Test

Press Volume key to select Light Sensor Test on
the function test menu.
Cover the light sensor at left of "hTC" logo to

check if LUX value is getting lower.
III.
Press power button to return function test menu.

Touch Panel Test
I.
Press volume key to select Touch Panel Test on
function test menu.
II.
Use your finger to touch around touch panel.
Check HST Test
I.
Press Volume key to select Chk HST Status to
check earphone remote function.
II.
Insert earphone to check if the status changing
from "Plug-out" to "Plug-in"
III.
Press Forward/ Play/ Backward button on the
headset to check if the status changing from
"Unpressed" to "Pressed".
Compass Test

If this testing is fail, please follow Chapter
4.4 to do the re-calibration
