Color controller

 <When interlocking function is set to OFF>

1. Press the [Fiery] key of printer.

2. Press the [Fiery] tab on control panel of printer.

3. Press [Restart Fiery], and then press [Shut Down] on control panel of

printer.

4. Press [OK] on control panel of printer.

5. Press the operation switch.

6. Make sure the operation switch indicator is not lit.

7. Open the front left cover.

8. Turn off the main power switch.

9. Close the front left cover.

The [Fiery] key is assigned to a key located in an easy-to-use position on the control

panel. Press the assigned [Fiery] key to change screens.

 Notes when interlocking function is OFF

- When shutting down the printer, be sure to shut down the main power of Color

Controller E-43A/E-83A.

- Be sure to turn the main power of Color Controller E-43A/E-83A on within one hour

of turning on the main power of the printer.

- When turning the main power on, turn on the printer first, then turn on Color

Controller E-43A/E-83A.
