FILTER REPLACEMENT GUIDELINES
Replacement timing
*
The REPLACE FILTER indicator light will turn on after approximately 17,500 hours.
( 2 years × 24 hours = 17,500)
Filter life varies depending on the operation mode.
After the filter is replaced, connect the power plug to the wall outlet and press the
POWER ON/OFF button, then REPLACE FILTER button for 3 seconds.

* According to Japan Electric Manufacture's Association JEM 1467, the Max service life is
based on the equivalent condition of the smoke from 5 cigarettes per day whereby the dust
collection power is reduced by half compared with that of new filter. It is recommended to
replace the filter more frequently under more severe conditions.
See page 8 for directions on how to install the filter when
replacing.
